Sea Turtle Conservation

Did you know that the turtle is one of the oldest animals found in the world? These wonderful living beings are truly a magnificent creation by Mother Nature. In Sri Lanka, we have special locations where they are being hatched and safely taken to the sea. The participants of the project will get a unique exposure as to learn the facts and figures of the Turtle Hatcheries and how impactful it has been so far. Would you like to be a parent for a young turtle until he is safely taken back to its rightful home, the ocean? Here's your chance!.

What you have to do

• Monitoring and closely analyzing the turtle activity during day and night.

• Conserving and caring for the turtle habitats and their eggs, Abiding by the instructions given by the team's experts on how to ensure the safety of the turtles and their eggs at all the times.

• Cleaning the beach.
